The Army of 1,000 is a community-wide effort to combat the serious challenges facing low-income children in Central Ohio.
“Army Members” enlist by donating $25, which goes directly to out-of-school programming for children in Homeport properties. These programs provide a safe place for kids to engage in adult-supervised activities, get help with homework, and receive a nutritious snack or meal.
The goal is to reach 1,000 Army Members who help spread greater awareness of the needs of low-income children across Central Ohio. Consider enlisting or visiting an upcoming Army event – because fighting the challenges kids face takes strength in numbers.
Thanks to US Bank for generously supporting the Army of 1,000 initiative, which strengthens families all over Central Ohio.
