Homeport's first Community Leadership Institute

This inaugural gathering will be held on July 28th, 9am - noon at the Columbus Far East Neighborhood Pride Center located at 2500 Park Crescent Drive, Columbus, OH 43232. Help us celebrate Pheasant Run Resident, Mr. Robert Fontaine, recently named a NeighborWorks' Dorothy Richardson National Resident of the Year and learn how our residents are becoming leaders within their community. The program will feature the following speakers;

  • Opening by Homeport President and CEO, Amy Klaben
  • Featuring remarks and Marsh Run pilot panel by national Everyday Democracy Consultant and Rise Sister Rise lead researcher, Fran Frazier:  "Citizen Democracy: the Importance of Listening and Voice." 
  • "What is Resident Leadership to me? What is Community to me?" panel facilitated by Homeport VP, Maude Hill
