Options abound for schooling in our communities

Through Columbus City Schools’ School Choice/Lottery program, parents have multiple options when it comes to sending their kids to school. Both Community Choice and Interdistrict Open Enrollment apply to conventional school lottery applications. A Community Choice school is one within your own Elementary Community or the Center City Community. An Open Enrollment school is a school in a community other than those designated Community Choice for you.

Whether your child has an interest in science, math, technology, arts, literature, or project adventure, this process allows families to apply to schools that best suit their needs.

While any family may apply for open enrollment, the lottery program does give priority to residents of certain communities.
