Welcoming spring at Homeport Gallery

Due to the popularity of Emergence, Homeport Gallery's latest exhibit, the show is being extended to run through March 17! Not only will visitors have more time to experience Laura Alexander's art, but she will also be bringing new pieces to replace ones that have sold. If you haven't heard, Laura has been voted Best Local Artist by ColumbusUnderground.com readers for two years running. Homeport Gallery is fortunate to have such an ambassador for the arts sharing her work with the community.

In other news, our North of Broad neighborhood will soon be "home" to another up-and-coming local artist. Under the guidance of Founder Melissa Vogley Woods, Rooms to Let Temporary Art Space will soon be taking over vacant homes along 20th and 21st Streets. Plans are still in the works, but stay tuned for updates, and find out more information at Rooms to Let's website.

Finally, Homeport Gallery is proud to announce that the next exhibition will feature the work of multi-disciplinary artist Lisa McLymont. Her work will go on display March 21st, and you can find out more about her at lisamclymont.com.
