BACKGROUND: In September 2016, Mr. Luecke was elected as President & CEO of Homeport after serving as its Interim CEO since January 2016. Bruce brings over 35 years of experience in the banking and financing arenas. His previous experiences include being Senior Vice President at Bank One Corporation (now JP Morgan Chase) and Vice President at Nationwide Bank, where he led Nationwide Bank’s business lines from start-up to $6 billion in assets in 8 years, helping the company experience significant growth in consumer lending and relationship management. He has also been a board member of the Community Development Collaborative of Greater Columbus, and is a former Homeport board member and board chair. Mr. Luecke currently sits on the boards of the Affordable Housing Alliance of Central Ohio, Ohio Housing Council, the Human Services Chamber of Central Ohio and is a member of the Central Ohio Advisory Board for the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Mr. Luecke holds an MBA in Finance from Loyola University Chicago and a BSBA in Finance from John Carroll University where he currently sits on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the Boler School of Business.
