North of Broad featured on MSN.com

Homeport was featured in several articles on the real estate section of MSN.com discussing the rehabilitation or rebuild of older homes and how Homeport is saving run-down homes in the North of Broad - or NoBo - neighborhood in the King Lincoln District. The first article debates the age old issue of saving a home or rebuilding at the site. Homeport's NoBo neighborhood is mentioned in how non-profits are saving run-down homes. You can check out before and after photos of rehabilitated homes around the country including a great historic preservation project in NoBo.

About eHome America
eHome America was designed to help more people obtain Certified Homebuyer Education. Many people have a difficult time getting to their local NeighborWorks® Chartered Member office for in-person counseling, for reason such as work schedules or babysitting issues. This online version helps individuals get the education and certification that they need at their convenience. Though this online course can not replace in-person homebuyer counseling we believe that participants can gain a thorough understanding of the homebuying process. Each participant in this course will be directly connected to a NeighborWorks® Chartered Member, often to a member in their area. This ensures that participants continue to receive the one-on-one counseling they need over the phone or in-person while receiving their certification online.
